General Description

Gate Cottage is a period, semi-detached self-catering cottage for four people and one dog.

Head through the pretty garden gate and step into the small entrance hallway. On the ground floor you will find a warm and welcoming, traditional sitting room where you can snuggle up in front of the wood burner. The TV has Sky and a DVD player so you can make the most of those relaxing nights in. There is plenty of comfortable seating in this spacious room so your party can really spread out!

The kitchen-diner has wonderful fell views and is well-equipped with an electric cooker, fridge with small freezer and washer/dryer. A circular dining table has seating for four and the lovely Welsh Dresser adds to the wonderfully traditional feel of this lovely cottage.

Also on the ground floor is shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.

Heading upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms - a twin and one that can be made up as either a twin or a double. The main bathroom is also on this floor and has an over-bath power shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and separate toilet.

Outside is an enclosed cottage garden with a lawn, garden seating and beautiful mountain views: ideal for watching the visiting red squirrels and birdlife!
