Entering the cottage you come through to the dining room which comfortably sits 10 people around a large table. From here you move through to the large kitchen. This space is great for cooking and entertaining with lots of worktop space and stylish fittings. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge freezer, and plenty of storage.
Also from the kitchen is the sitting room, a wonderful space with double patio doors and a glazed roof allowing lovely and unique views of Whinlatter fells and bringing the outside in. The room seats 10 in luxury around the widescreen TV and DVD player.
There are two downstairs bedrooms which are accessed via a corridor off the sitting room. There is one queen sized bedroom and a double bedroom, both of which share a large bathroom with a bath, separate shower enclosure, WC and wash basin.
The first floor is reached via stairs from the kitchen. The king size master bedroom has a wonderful ensuite shower room and WC. There is a further two twin bedrooms upstairs which share a shower room with WC.
The spacious garden has fabulous views of the fells. It has a patio area for sitting out. The area put to lawn has been beautifully sculptured and there is also a more wild area with some beautiful old oak trees. From here there is a path leading to Bassenthwaite Lake through the ancient Powterhow Wood.
