The Gables sleeps 12/14 people in 6 bedrooms. The house can be let in conjunction with The Gables Studio (sleeps 2) to accommodate up to 16 people in total.

DUE TO THE LATEST COVID-19 REGULATIONS WE, ARE OFFERING THE GABLES FOR GROUPS OF UP TO 6 OR A FAMILY BUBBLE AT A DISCOUNTED RATE FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2020. (THESE DISCOUNTS ARE ALREADY APPLIED IN THE AVAILABILITY CALENDAR).

The prices on our website would provide access to 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; one en-suite and 2 main bathrooms.

If you would like access to a 4th and 5th bedroom and another bathroom, there would be an additional charge of £200. Please call our office if you wish to book these facilities.

General Description

The Gables is a traditional Keswick town house. On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom that features zip and link beds and can be converted to a superking bed on request (please let us know at the time of booking), two sitting rooms and a bathroom with a shower.

The kitchen and dining room are on the first floor, making the most of the tall windows and lovely views to Latrigg, River Greta and Fitz Park. The dining room has a window seat, wall mounted TV and pool table. There is a double bedroom with and en suite shower room on this floor.

On the second floor there are three twin bedrooms with zip and link beds that can be linked together as super king beds if required - please let us know at the time of booking. There also is a family bathroom with a bath and shower and an additional shower room on this floor.

The attic room features twin beds and a double sofa bed that can be used for extra guests, bedding is provided. Please request at the time of booking. This is an annexed room with the twin bedroom accessed off the sitting area. A delux mattress topper is available for the sofa bed for extra comfort.

Two dogs are welcome at The Gables and additional dogs can be accommodated on request.

Outside there is an outhouse utility room and a shed with a barbecue. The garden is enclosed and there is a separate studio flat at the end of the garden sleeping two people and having its own entrance.

There is parking for one car accessed from Victoria Street down a short drive between Brundholme & Abacourt Cottages. Other parking is available on street. The parking on Station Street is disc restricted but overnight there is no restriction.
