This studio accommodation is an ideal romantic bolthole for couples but also for solo travellers who want walking trails on the doorstep, with fells like Skiddaw just 5 miles away.

This ideally placed studio flat lies in the heart of Keswick. It is a quiet and peaceful retreat with superb views of Skiddaw and the surrounding fells. The property is a comfortable base for couples or solo travellers, providing functional accommodation in a popular Lake District location. It is situated just a minute's walk from the town centre in a quiet location close to one of the town's beautiful parks and the River Greta.

The accommodation is an open-plan studio arranged over the ground floor. It is filled with natural light and features a fully fitted kitchen and lounge area, double bed, underfloor heating and a separate en-suite shower room. Outside is a private patio with BBQ. The convenient location is ideal for exploring the area on foot. Right on the doorstep are fantastic walks including Catbells, Walla Crag, Latrigg, Skiddaw and the old railway line. Derwentwater is a 10-minute stroll through the town. Keswick is a popular destination for tourists and walkers and the town has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, offering a wide selection of shops, galleries, tearooms, restaurants, pubs, a good museum and a theatre.

There is underfloor heating throughout and a wet room bathroom. The open-plan accommodation offers a fully fitted kitchen, lounge area and a double bed. There is a tumble dryer but no washing machine at the property.

Outside there is a small patio with seating and a BBQ. Two dogs are welcome and further dogs can be accommodated on request. There is disc parking on Station Street and unrestricted parking within a few minutes walk.

The studio is found at the end of the garden of one of our other properties and if booked together, accomodates 14/16 people.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £20. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Its the location with the close proximity to the town that makes it attractive. Its well equipped for just two people. Would certainly stay again especially now we know the ins and outs regarding parking.

A cosy hideaway in a superb location. Literally a short stroll to the centre of Keswick. Parking wasnt an issue, we found a space within a 5 minute walk. It might be more difficult in peak season though. Overall, would definitely recommend. Superb value for money for its location.

Well equipped , cozy studio. Very comfy sofa with foot stools. Comfy bed with warm duvet. Powerful shower. Plenty of hot water. Location is perfect. No parking but pricing reflects and you are okay to pull car in front to unload. Loads of free parking close by. Fantastic location, so close to town we could t have been in a better place. Cosy and comfy the underfloor heating was so warm when we arrived and throughout our stay which was great as the weather took a cold turn halfway through the week. Parking was easily accessible in the surrounding streets and only an issue on Christmas light switch on nightRead more, so we paid to park in the towns car park just across the road. Great location. Everything you need is there. Literally pack your towels and toiletries and thats it. Great little yard for the dogs.

Perfectly situated for the town and the main road for the day trips out of Keswick and if you have pets fitz park is practically on the door step. Otley Road car park is a minute away and you can buy a permit for less than 29 for parking. Great week away.

The Studio is a lovely place to stay. It is cosy and perfect for two (and dog). I was expecting the basics of hob, oven, microwave and fridge but was surprised to find a freezer and tumble drier too! The bed and living area were comfy and the shower was great. We had a lovely stay.

Clean and tidy with equipment for 2. Ideal for Keswick centre and surrounding area. No parking at the studio had park on side street a few minutes away easy walk though. Overall would recommend.

Great stay in Keswick at a great location, close to a lovely park, local brewery with bear garden, shops, restaurants and bars. 5-10 minute walk to the Lake too. No parking as stated but managed to find a spot 5 minutes away down a street off Penrith road Would definitely stay again.

We had trouble locating the cottage when we arrived and opening the key safe and the fact that we couldnt park our car was an issue, so we had to park on the nearby streets and my husband had to carry shopping back by hand because he didn't want to move the car incase he lost his spot and we couldnt leave our dogs incase they damaged the property. Great location, short walk to town centre and all the shops/restaurants/pubs etc. Ideal for two people who just need a base in Keswick for a few days. May be a bit on the small side for longer stays. No parking, but street parking available nearby. However, could be a problem finding a space during busy periods.
