Longthwaite occupies one of the most unspoilt locations in the valley. The river Derwent runs past the property and the timeless view from the garden is simply breath taking.
4 people can be accommodated at Foxwood, which also boasts two sitting rooms - one with an open fire, a bathroom and separate shower room. Wifi is provided free to all customers.
Borrowdale is a walker’s paradise with unsurpassed choice of routes and climbs from family friendly Catbells or Castle Crag to the towering heights of Great Gable and the Scafells.
The village of Rosthwaite is a short stroll away, offering the Scafell Hotel and Riverside bar, and the Flock Inn tea room which also sells household essentials and limited groceries.
Keswick is a ten minute drive away, with a wide range of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a Booths supermarket, theatre and cinema.
