An excellent flat in a great location. Good facilities in the flat. Just be aware that parking nearby is always busy and you may have to park some distance away. We would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend this flat.

Hello JA, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's a lovely place for a relaxing break, isn't it? The location is hard to beat! I am also pleased to let you know that for all breaks between April and September a parking permit is provided for any of the local car parks, so you can be assured of finding a space. I am thrilled you had a great time and I hope you will come back and visit us very soon.

The flat was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was very warm and cosy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with every appliance and utensil necessary for cooking, and the rest of the flat is very comfortably furnished. There are lovely views from the living room and bedroom windows. Our one suggestion would be that perhaps more than one set of keys could be provided, we would have found this very useful.
We would definitely recommend Flat 4 and hope to visit again in the future.

Hello Christine, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's a gem of a cottage, isn't it? The views are exquisite! Thank you also for your feedback. Some guests like to leave the key in the key safe when they go out, as not only can the first one back can let themselves in, but they also have no concerns about losing the key when walking the fells. I'm thrilled you had a great time and I hope you will come back and visit us very soon.

We enjoyed our stay at Skiddaw View. It was a cosy and comfortable retreat to escape to during the remnants of Storm Ciara. It was particularly cold and windy the first couple of days we were there, so we were glad to have the oil-filled radiators to supplement the storage heating, which normally would have probably been quite adequate. We parked in one of the streets nearby, but did notice that after 4pm it is possible to park just round the corner from the flat on a yellow line in Southey Street, which would be useful for unloading and carrying luggage to the flat. We left the car parked up for all our stay and found plenty to do without having to use it. The flat is very close to the town so very handy for shops, pubs and restaurants. (We were pleased to also discover a local Spar just round the corner). And of course there is plenty of walking right from the front door. The flat is well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. The views from all the windows are great too. We will certainly stay here again and recommend this to others. We appreciated the late check-out, Thanks too for the bottle of wine, biscuits ans Valentine treats!
