Fell View is a former police house set on an elevated terrace, offering superb views of Blencathra.
The entrance porch on the side of the cottage leads in to the property via a door to the spacious dining room. This room has a table and chairs to seat 6 people, and a feature fireplace.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, an undercounter fridge, countertop box freezer and a washing machine. There is also a downstairs WC at the property.
In the lounge you will find a very spacious room with seating for 6 people. The large windows offer fantastic views of Blencathra. A log burner keeps the room warm, using smokeless fuel (initial supply provided) and there is a flat screen television with DVD player along with board games and OS maps.
Upstairs are the two double bedrooms, one of which has a a feature fireplace, a pull out double sofa bed and a cot. The pull out bed is available to use on request and the bedroom has fantastic views towards Blencathra. The second double room has views towards the Helvellyn Range.
The family bathroom has a WC, washbasin and bath with electric shower over.
To the side of the house is a patio which catches the sun all day. There is a small garden with a pond to the front. The pond is covered in chicken wire but please be aware.
