Stunning cottage in idyllic location. Great for checking out Cumbria and Northumberland. Alston is a beautiful little town with quaint shops and local train station. Took a ride to Slaggyford and walked back, around 8.5k. Very peaceful and quiet, great hot tub with fab views over the fells. Lots of lovely windy, hilly roads to drive too

Fell View is a wonderful cottage in a stunning location. It is really well equipped and Delia and Allen were perfect hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed whilst providing us the privacy to enjoy our holiday. There are lovely walks from the cottage as well as being well located for the Lakes and Northumberland.

Fantastic cottage with hot tub with views to the fells (hence its name!) I would definitely recommend for a restful holiday. Only converted in 2020 so everything feels very new. Great local walks along the valley to Garrigill. Close to the small town of Alston and 30 minutes drive to Hadrian’s Wall. Lots of local museums to visit - even better when the removal of lockdown opens a few more.
