The Faulds is entered via a front door into the boot room which also doubles as a games room. This is furnished with a sofa, table football game, clothes airer and boot racks. There is also a large plastic dog bed provided so you just need to bring your own bedding.
The living room is arranged around the open range fire with sofas and arm chairs for 6 people, along with a TV with DVD player. There is also a dining table and door out to the garden.
The kitchen is well equipped and beautifully finished with Skiddaw slate work tops. A countertop fridge, along with a halogen hob and electric cooker. There is also a small dishwasher in the kitchen which features a skylight window. Next to the kitchen is a utility room featuring a washing machine, WC and handbasin and a small counter top freezer.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and sash windows giving views towards Bassenthwaite and Skiddaw. There is an ensuite shower room with an electric power shower, WC and washbasin.
There is also a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom (please note there is an extra single bed in this room which is not usually made up). The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, washbasin, bidet and WC.
Outside there is a lawned garden which is enclosed and has attractive shrubs and views to Skiddaw. Outdoor seating is provided for you to enjoy the views. Parking is available just up the lane in front of the garage for The Faulds.
