We have just returned from the most amazing week away at Esp Hall with our family.
The cottage is beautifully renovated to a very high standard, and is a home away from home. Everything you need is there. Beds are comfy and there are plenty of bathrooms. The children loved watching the sheep in the adjacent field, there were games & DVD’s available for the cosy evenings.
Our dog loved the run up to the orchard multiple times per day, and it was lovely to see the fruit growing. There are lots of varieties of fruit growing for picking when ready. Would love to return again soon and would definitely recommend.

Outstanding location if you like peace and quiet. The house is perfect 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Bathrooms and kitchen are all newly done to a very high specification.
Basically the place is perfect. The gardens are nice and private.

We all had a superb 2 week holiday at Esp Hall. Cant fault the cottage in the slightest. Very very comfortable, the height of luxury. We chose Esp Hall partly for its isolated location, when you have a little dog that barks at oxygen its good to go to places that dont have neighbours! We did our research before and knew how far the supermarket would be, it would have been handy to have a local shop nearby for bread and milk though. Having said that, we spent a lot of time going to Coniston (35 minutes away) for walks, so it was no drama picking up supplies whilst there.

The local pub is excellent, possibly the biggest portions you will ever see, and the staff are very friendly and happy to spend time talking about the area. The pub is about a 30 minute walk through fields/woods, which was a bit too much for my parents so they had to drive.

The owners are lovely, very accommodating and extremely friendly.

We all massively recommend Esp Hall, we cant wait to return.
