Hi Valerie. Thanks so much for letting me know how much you enjoyed your stay in this fabulous place. It truly is in a great location and I hope you enjoyed the walks and the grounds - and perhaps a ride on the La'al Ratty? Hope to see you back here before too long!

A good October week .Lots of different walks locally . We enjoyed Eskdale and especially the Esk . The walk over Muncaster fell gave some lovely views. House very comfortable and felt as though our safety was important. Firm mattresses though new might not suit every ageing back!

Hi Sheila, I'm glad you enjoyed your break. It's a real home from home isn't it? And the location is stunning. I'm glad you enjoyed some lovely walks. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

This is a lovely homely cottage, no neighbours or noise but very easily accessible, well equipped and spacious (for our group of 4 adults and 2 children). A matress for the travel cot would have helped us all get a better night's sleep, and for peace of mind I would like to be able to lock the bedroom windows. The kitchen is particularly well equipped for a holiday cottage, but I think you would struggle to seat 8 at the table. 2 bathrooms is a real bonus. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would come again!

Hi Rosie, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you had a lovely break at Eskholme Lodge. It's the perfect place to get away from it all isn't it? I hope you enjoyed exploring. I really appreciate your feedback and suggestions for improvement and will pass it all on to the owners, thank you. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
