General Description

A warm welcome to Eastern Cottage. Full of charm and character, Eastern Cottage dates back to the 17th century but has recently been completely refurbished throughout and now offers delightful accommodation for up to 6 people.

The country style kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you would need for a self catering holiday including an electric oven and hob, fridge and a handy microwave. Gather round the wooden dining table in the separate dining room; share stories about the day's events over a home cooked meal, or spread out maps and guide books to plan tomorrow's adventures.

Down 3 shallow steps from the dining room is the living room. With original beams, exposed brickwork and an open fire in the stunning inglenook fireplace, this room really is the heart of this home. The sofa and armchairs in here are perfectly positioned around the fire, and there's a Freeview TV and a mini hi-fi system for entertainment too.

Upstairs on the first floor are the 3 bedrooms. First up we have the master bedroom; a spacious room with a metal-framed double bed that's perfect for indulging in a long lie in. This room also has a handy double wardrobe with drawers, as well as a beautiful feature fireplace. The second double bedroom is slightly smaller than the first but just as lovely. This room has characterful original beams, as well as its own en-suite shower room, which has a WC, washbasin and modern shower cubicle. Last but by no means least is the lovely twin room; another bright and spacious room with matching painted wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage.

Also on the first floor is the family bathroom which has a WC, washbasin and bath with shower over, ideal whether you prefer a relaxing soak in the bath or a refreshing shower.

As well as private parking for 2 cars in front of the cottage, to the rear is a delightful sloping garden. Accessed up 6 stone steps, this is a lovely spot to reelax and unwind.
