Deer Close Cottage provides light and airy very comfortable accommodation for 2 people in a striking location in the Borrowdale valley just outside Keswick. The cottage occupies a superbly elevated position overlooking the beautiful Borrowdale Valley.
The cottage is accessed via the large doorway from the patio area, leading into the open plan kitchen and dining room. This room has splendid views from the windows looking across to the fells and down the Borrowdale valley. The well-equipped kitchen has electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer shelf, dishwasher and microwave. There is a separate utility room housing the washer/dryer and controls for the external boiler.
The tastefully decorated bedroom has zip and link king sized bed (can be a twin if required) and views on two sides to the adjacent woods and field. The modern bathroom has a recessed washbasin, bath with shower over and heated towel rail and window to the rear with views of the woodland.
The lounge has comfortable seating, flat screen wall-mounted TV and a DVD player. The double aspect windows provide lovely fell views.
Outside there are two patio areas, one of which has a table and chairs to enjoy the superb views to the fells. The adjacent owner's house and garden are a delight to look out upon and wildlife, including deer and red squirrels, can often be seen in the woods at the rear.
