Deer Close cottage provides light and airy, tastefully decorated and very comfortable accommodation for 2 people in a striking location in the Borrowdale valley just outside Keswick. The attractively furnished cottage, a stone-built conversion, occupies a superb elevated position with a sunny south west aspect just in front of Walla Crag and overlooking the beautiful Borrowdale Valley.
The cottage is located just over a mile from the market town of Keswick thereby having the best of both worlds with the town amenities to hand but being in a rural location with an abundance of wildlife. The woods to the rear provide a habitat for deer and for rare flora and fauna and are carpeted with bluebells in the spring. There is an abundance of walks from the door including down to Derwentwater lakeside as well as onto the fells. The summit of nearby Walla Crag provides superb views down the Derwent Valley to Keswick and beyond and spectacular sunsets can be seen to the west.
