The cottage is accessed via the front door leading into the kitchen. The well-equipped kitchen has butler sink, range cooker with gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, dresser and breakfast table. The utility area housing the washer, separate dryer and large fridge/freezer is to the rear of the kitchen. The bathroom leading off from the inner hallway at the rear of the kitchen has corner mains shower, W.C, washbasin and heated towel rail. A stairway leading to the master bedroom also leads off from the hallway.
The kitchen archway opens out into the beamed spacious living/dining room with original features, gas fired woodburner effect fire, comfortable leather sofas, TV and DVD Player. The dining area to one end has a lovely table and chairs. To the other end of the living room is a study with desk and chair. On the opposite side of the house there is also a seperate bathroom which can be accessed from the first floor as well. The bathroom has bath with shower over, W.C, washbasin and heated towel rail.
A further stairway leads off from the sitting area to the first floor bedrooms. The spacious single bedroom with feature fireplace (not useable) is adjacent to the double bedroom. There is a connecting door from this double bedroom through to the master bedroom with double bed, but this can be left shut as access to the master bedroom can be from the separate stairway. The master bedroom would then in effect have its own ensuite just down the stairway All the bedrooms have characterful beds and furniture and views across the farmland to the hills beyond.
To the outside is hard standing in front of the cottage with parking for two cars in tandem and a seat for sitting out.
