Good location with lovely views and walks from the cottage. Grange is an excellent base from which to explore Borrowdale and the northern lakes.
Cottage warm and comfortable. I would stay there again.
On the downside
Parking for 2 cars is a bit tight if you have a larger car.
The kitchen lacks any cupboard for food storage and a dishwasher would be a good addition.

Hi J, thanks for your comments, I've made a note of your thoughts about the kitchen. It really is a great location, isn't it? There is just so much to explore in Borrowdale. Come back and see us again soon!

Had a lovely week. The cottage was great. Comfortable, clean. Everything we needed. Location was what we wanted. Peaceful, scenery amazing. We put 6 for amenities but we new Keswick was 4 mike's down the rd. That was our choice.
Thanks once again had fab time

A really lovely spacious holiday home, especially as there was only two of us and we got a discount for that. Very clean and well equipped and the front double bed was very comfortable. Wonderful views and walks from the house. The only eating place within easy walking distance, late in the season, is the Borrowdale Gates hotel which we didn't try as it seems rather expensive. We mostly ate our main meal while out during the day, and picked up any provisions needed as the nearest shop is 4 miles away in Keswick. You can park at the supermarket there, Booths, and get a refund of the fee on spends over £5. Other than that the parking in Keswick is extortionate and must deter tourists from eating and spending time there.
