We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment, it was spotless, cosy, efficient heating and a great location allowing you to walk from the house. Its well equipped with everything we required and well appointed and a pub about 100 yards away. Excellent and would use this place again.

The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The location has a selection of walks ranging in length starting from there which was useful as we didn't have a car, this made getting groceries difficult with no local shop. However the bus into keswick was frequent and reliable and the open top made it an experience in Read moreitself. We would recommend a meal at the both the local pub and the longstanding Inn as food was delicious but busy so booking is a must. Hide

Very pleasant location. Nicely furnished flat and beautiful garden. The shortcomings were basically lack of laundering facilities and no tv instructions. We would definitely stay there again. Ann Emmons

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Kiln How in 9 years. It is the perfect location for walking, once you have all your provisions you don't need to get in your car again till it's home time. There is a regular bus that runs through the valley. There are 2 pubs at the end of the drive, unfortunately at this time one was being renovated and the oRead morether only serving drinks. Accommodation cosy and has everything you need. Hide

Property was spotless on arrival, and the gratis bottle of wine greatly appreciated. The grounds, too, well maintained and tidy. A ground floor one-bedroom flat, it was just enough for two people looking to explore this extra-lovely part of the Lake District, as well as within reasonable driving distance to pretty much everywhere else.

A great location and a nice place to stay, well kept, with essentials provided. Whilst it is a dog-friendly place, this didn't suit us so well but will no doubt suit others. The management was responsive to queries.
