Stunning townhouse with views in the distance of the Cumbria fells. The beach and marina are just a few minutes’ walk from your front door and this property is a great base to explore the Lake District. A perfect retreat for families and friends to catch up.

This gorgeous three-storey townhouse is in the heart of the ancient harbour town of Maryport. The property sleeps six guests, making it ideal for large families and groups of friends, and is perfectly placed for exploring the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Lake District National Park. Silloth is 13 miles along the coast and just over 20 miles inland is Bassenthwaite and Skiddaw. The spacious property has ample room for socialising with a large lounge and impressive formal dining room, as well as a stunning bathroom featuring an open fire.

The welcoming holiday home boasts delightful views across the town square to the distant fells. The property is decorated in a traditional style, with warm tones and floral fabrics. After a day of exploring, gather in the lounge to watch the Smart TV or read a book in front of the open fire. The formal dining room is ideal for hosting dinner parties, again in the glow of an open fire. The three bedrooms are arranged across the first and second floors and comprise two doubles and a twin. Outside, discover an enclosed courtyard where you can sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Maryport is an attractive maritime town. Wander around the harbour and marina (0.5 miles), admiring the views across the Solway Firth. The town also has some great attractions for rainy days, including the aquarium and a Roman museum. Enjoy a traditional day at the seaside in Silloth. With a sandy beach, amusements, and fun fair, it’s the perfect place to get in the holiday spirit. Heading east, you’ll soon be in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Meander along the serene shores of Bassenthwaite or climb to the summit of Skiddaw for spectacular panoramic views.

A stunning well equipped house located in a town which has very friendly locals. The house is well maintained and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. The parking was easy, the house is in a quiet neighbourhood located very near to the sea front promenade where you can exercise your dog off lead. We would recommend the house to others.

Lounge was large, comfy and had plenty of light due to the original Georgian windows. Beds were very comfy with nice firm matresses. Bathroom on top floor was a delight being so spacious and the shower was good.

The home was very clean. We were very impressed. The only thing I would say is make sure youre fit, for running up and down the stairs to make your brews.

What a beautiful property! Ample on street parking, very comfortable beds, great facilities and the access to Netflix etc on the one day of bad weather we had was really appreciated. We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Great location for some local walks, fab pubs that do home cooked meals close by and lots of other amenities at hand. Will Read morereturn Hide

House very clean and comfortable and fairly well equipped . Location ideal for touring northern lakes . We visited Keswick,Ambleside and Bowless on Windemere. Spend time in harbour too and teenagers enjoyed go carting in village . My only disappointment was courtyard a little unkept and needed updating as I do like to sit out , especially as its a Read moresunny position. Hide

Beautifully appointed town house. Very comfortable with a very high level of cleanliness. Lovely to see a very different coast line to what we have in the south of England. Maryport is a very quiet town. Only a short drive to Cockermouth, Keswick and The Lakes. We all had a great time, thank you!

The house was lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only slight downside is that the only communal toilet is on the top floor though there is one in the bedroom with the ensuite. We loved the shower and the bath was luxuriously long which my tall children loved. The garden is small but a sun trap and the hose was handy so we could wash Read morethe dog after a run on the beach. We did notice that the people of Maryport dont pick up after their dogs along the promenade which was a shame. Hide

I very comfortable townhouse in Maryport. Spread over three floors the rooms are very well appointed in a homely way with very good TVs in the bedroom, living room and dininv room. Alexa did a good job at keeping teh music playing during the stay. The back yard is a nice suntrap and give a good opportunity to do some alfresco dining..
