This period apartment is right in the heart of the Lakeland town of Keswick and boasts stunning mountain views. Sleeping four guests, the property makes a wonderful couples’ retreat or base for a small family. Step out of the apartment and into the bustling market town, which has an excellent range of independent shops and eateries, as well as some stunning public parks. A short 0.5-mile stroll will bring you to the shores of Derwentwater, and you are also within easy reach of some of the Lake District’s most iconic fells.

Enter to the rear of the property, and into a shared hallway. Once inside the ground-floor apartment, you’ll find elegant interiors and beautiful period features. The property has been decorated to complement the original style, whilst incorporating contemporary furniture and accessories. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a great space for entertaining, with a choice of seating areas, an impressive kitchen area, and gorgeous views of the surrounding fells. In the evening, snuggle up on the sofas or in an armchair to watch a film on the Smart TV. Two relaxing bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – complete the property, and both have en-suite facilities. The king-size bedroom also has a fabulous dressing room.

After a potter around the shops, head down to Derwentwater for a relaxing waterside stroll. Follow the 8-mile path that circumnavigates the lake, stopping at the Friar’s Crag viewpoint to admire the breathtaking scenery. Alternatively, hop on the Keswick Launch to majestically glide across the water and give you a whole different perspective on the landscape. Just 1 mile from Keswick you’ll find the Castlerigg Stone Circle; the evocative landmark dates back over 4,500 years and is a must for all history enthusiasts, as well as keen photographers.

A really well presented property in an area we know well - Great location. Parking really helpful. Very well equipped. Excellent welcome hamper. We are up in the lakes 2 or 3 times a year so we will book again. Barry & Linda

Lovely well equipped accommodation, warm and cosy with super views of Latrigg. Great location with a 2 minute walk to the shops and less than 10 mins walk to the lake shore. Only used the car once all week. Chintys is a really lovely little cafe just down the street, for fantastic home made food.

Ideal spot for Keswick main street. Loads of equipment for cooking ect. Just a pity there is no dinning table
