This striking stone townhouse situated 150 metres from central Keswick is a great property for an active family or friends’ get-together. There are lots of activities on the doorstep and many fells in the area to explore. Or you can walk down to the lakeshore at Derwentwater (0.5 miles) to catch the launch across the lake and climb Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities.

Enter this splendid property which retains original features including a tiled floor in the lobby and a magnificent architrave. On the ground floor is a shower room and a stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is the heart of the house. Here, you can eat together and make plans for the day ahead. With a cosy wood burner for cooler evenings, you can relax on the comfortable chairs and watch the Smart TV, chat, or read. The contemporary kitchen is one step down from the hallway and offers space to prepare food and chat. On the first floor, there's a bunk bedroom, a king-size bedroom, and a bathroom. By the stairs to the second floor is a door leading to the roof terrace – the perfect place for an early morning coffee overlooking the fells. Beautiful property. Everything you need. Loved the boot room , come utility room. My daughter loved the drying cabinet. Ideal with 2 young boys. We didnt get to use the 2 outdoor seating areas because of the weather, hopefully we will when we book again. Parking was a bonus too.

Stayed here as a base for family members to join us who were traveling from all over the country. Excellent property, one of the best weve stayed in! Very warm and comfortable. Extremely well equipped kitchen (we like to cook!) with high end pots and pans (Le Cruset, Dualit etc etc) plenty of of cups, glasses and cutlery so you werent continually wRead moreashing up. Centrally placed and very easy to get into town for bars and restaurants. Parking was a bonus! Have booked for next year already!! Hide

Lovely house in great location very close to Keswick centre. Really clean and well appointed to make a perfect base for touring the Lakes. Parking was a real bonus too even with two cars.

What a lovely stay we had in this wonderful home. It really felt like a treat to stay here. It is well thought out, lovely and spacious and well equipped too. Century House was lovely - well-equipped, very clean and really comfortable. The location made it a great base for exploring Keswick by foot and beyond by car. The boot room and drying cupboard were very handy for the fairly wet week we had, and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and really nicely appointed. We would love to return!
