Grizedale Forest is just on the doorstep, with hundreds of walking and cycling routes to explore. The forest is also home to a Go Ape high ropes adventure, just 1.5 miles away. Stroll the shores of the nearby lakes, or try out water sports, such as paddleboarding or kayaking, at Coniston Water (8 miles) or Windermere (8 miles).
