Sleek and stylish cottage, set out on one level, in the picturesque village of Edenhall. Enjoy a romantic retreat, exploring the surrounding Lake District National Park and North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This property is a fabulous, one-bedroom retreat enjoying a peaceful location in the picturesque village of Edenhall, located on the edge of the Lake District National Park and North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. An elegant and stylish home from home, the accommodation is all laid out on the ground floor and is beautifully presented throughout. The open kitchen-dining-living area is a wonderful social space. The modern shower room is a real treat, and the spacious super-king-size bedroom can also be made up as a twin upon request. As well as a parking space and access to a shared outside area, outside the cottage is a pleasant patio garden area with outdoor seating, a lovely spot for dining alfresco.

A small, peaceful village, Edenhall is easily accessed from the M6 and A66 but still tucked away from the main hustle and bustle. Located within the beautiful Eden Valley, there are plenty of walking opportunities nearby. Why not book in for breakfast at the village hotel? A great way to set yourselves up for the day! Walk along the picturesque River Eden to the neighbouring village of Langwathby, stock up on supplies at the village shop or enjoy a hearty meal at the popular pub here before the return journey. A trip to nearby Lacy's Caves and Long Meg Stone Circle is a must - you're sure to be enchanted. Fans of fishing can take advantage of Whins Pond, just a 5-minute drive from the cottage, or why not book a tee-time at nearby Penrith Golf Course?

With both the Lake District and North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within easy reach, there’s plenty of choice for longer days out. Magnificent Ullswater is less than a 20-minute drive away; enjoy lunch in one of the friendly cafes at bustling Pooley Bridge before hitching a ride on the popular Steamer for a scenic cruise around the lake. In Keswick, the adventure capital of the North Lakes, adrenaline junkies can sign up for an activity with one of the local adventure companies, or indulge in some retail therapy in the outdoor and independent shops in the town centre. Visit the North Pennines village of Alston, reputedly the highest market settlement in England. This village is sure to charm with its cobbled streets, market cross and bandstand; ambling around the village is a delightful way to spend an afternoon.

Head inside this homely cottage and you’ll find a large, open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, which is a great social space. Beautifully decorated, you'd be forgiven for thinking you had stepped inside a boutique hotel rather than your own home from home. The sleek kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, handy built-in microwave, fridge and even a dishwasher so there will be no need to fight over who does the washing up! In the kitchen is a feature breakfast bar with two stools, the perfect spot for grabbing a bite to eat. There's also a stylish glass dining table with two colourful orange chairs, ideal for convivial mealtimes whilst comparing notes on the day's events. The living area is light, bright and spacious. There are two three-seater sofas to choose from, a Smart TV and an electric fire, perfect for cosy evenings in.

The lovely bedroom has an inviting super-king-size bed, perfect for indulging in a long lie in - you are on holiday after all! With feature bespoke panelling behind the bed and gorgeous pops of colour, you're sure to feel spoilt in this fabulous bedroom. There's plenty of storage thanks to the useful chest of drawers, and there's also a Smart TV in here too. The bedroom can be made up as a twin upon request if you would prefer two single beds.

The modern shower room can be found off the bedroom. In addition to the WC and wash basin, this stylish bathroom has a fantastic large modern shower cubicle so you can enjoy a refreshing shower after a day out exploring. A heated rail is a bonus for lovely warm towels afterwards.

Outside, the cottage also has its own off-road parking space, and there's outdoor seating for two, perfect for an al fresco aperitif after a day out and about. This cottage (along with three others) sits within the walled garden of the adjacent Vicarage. Guests are welcome to walk around the delightful, shared area between the cottages, when the main gate is open.
