There''s also a handy sofa bed that accommodates an additional two guests as well as lower worktops, under sink space for a wheelchair, shower grab rail and stool inside. Make the most of your magnificent views overlooking Lake Windermere by dining alfresco on the decked veranda. Outside, there is ramp access to the front door and parking on site for one car.

From the doorstep, keen outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a spot of canoeing or join countless scenic, sun-dappled footpaths. Those who love life on the water can uncover the natural beauty of Lake Windermere aboard a traditional steamer boat from nearby Bowness-on-Windermere, 5 miles away. Back on dry land, immerse yourself in the local nature at the Victorian Fell Foot Park, 2.5 miles away, which offers meadows perfect for long strolls and dog walkers as well as kayak and paddleboard hire.
