We had a lovely stay at 'Fortress'. The cottage is part of a handsome Barn conversion with a view over the garden. It was easy to find, and is in an excellent location, close to Carlisle but in peaceful countryside near to Hadrian's Wall. Fortress was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is well furnished and a great deal of care has clearlRead morey gone in to making it a cosy and relaxing place to stay. We appreciated all the little extras, (including a bottle of wine!), and the friendly welcome from Anne and Jonathan. Everything is well thought out. There are designated parking and outdoor spaces for each of the holiday cottages. There is a laundry room with washers and dryers which is great for muddy walkers: providing detergent and conditioner was a thoughtful extra. Anne and Jonathan (and family) went above and beyond to provide a relaxing and problem-free holiday, We would highly recommend Bleatarn Park to any holiday maker, and we hope to return soon. Hide

The accommodation was excellent, clean and comfortable. The location was great, very peaceful with good car parking.

Lovely place to stay, very clean and well equipped and good value for money. Ann was very friendly and welcoming. The utility room with washers, dryers and freezer is a great addition and we found the freezer very useful especially as my dog eats butternut which comes in frozen packages.
