Designed for up to two guests, this charming escape is situated just 6 miles from the lively market town of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria. It's an ideal destination for those who love scenic countryside, charming villages, local food markets, and historical landmarks. The area is rich with outdoor adventures, including stunning hikes, cycling routes, and horseback riding through picturesque country roads. Ravenstonedale (3 miles) offers family-friendly features like a playground and a cosy country inn. Explore Pendragon Castle (4.5 miles), steeped in Arthurian legend, or visit Smardale Gill Nature Reserve (6 miles), where you can enjoy birdwatching and butterfly spotting along a former railway line, complete with a beautiful viaduct.

This lovely property, powered via an air-source heat pump for a greener environment, offers a perfect romantic getaway for two. Walking in through the ornate front door you are welcomed into the modern open-plan kitchen/diner. This is a wonderfully social space to let the conversation flow whilst the chef of the house makes use of the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy evenings watching your favourite show from the cosy sofa on the Smart TV. To the left, the delightful super-king-sized bedroom beckons, and the bathroom is the perfect place to start or end the day refreshed.

Outside, you can enjoy an evening tipple on the shared patio to the front of the property or take a stroll through the Victorian garden with your four-legged friend, whilst the fells beyond are perfect for a day’s adventure. Parking for one car can be found just beyond the gate.
