The property is located in Ambleside, a quintessential Lake District town at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, and you're perfectly positioned to enjoy walks, hikes, bike rides, and water-based adventures throughout your stay. Occupying an elevated position on the third floor of a former end-terrace house, you can admire stunning lake views while planning daily adventures each morning. Hosting up to five guests, the apartment is ideal for two couples seeking extra space or perhaps a family.

The eclectic aesthetic, featuring Indian marble flooring, plush rugs, and antique-style furnishings, gives this single-storey property a charismatic finish. Head up the stairs and into the open-plan lounge/diner. With a picture window showcasing lake views on one side, this grand room is the perfect place to unwind. The kitchen is accessible just next door, through an open, arched doorway, and offers everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. Of the three bedrooms, two boast those incredible lake views. The master double bedroom, with a marble-bedecked en-suite, and the second double are at the front of the house, while a cosy single bedroom is located on the opposite side. A family bathroom, also with marble decor, completes the property's offerings.

Although there is no outdoor space at this property, you only need to wander a short distance to reach the banks of Lake Windermere. This famous lake is the National Park's largest body of water and a popular spot for walks, wildlife spotting, kayaking, canoeing, or regular boat trips on the lake's steamers. Ambleside town centre is also less than 0.5 miles away, home to a country pub, a gingerbread shop, and the pretty Stock Ghyll Force (1 mile). From here, follow the River Rothay up to Rydal and explore Rydal Cave and Rydal Water (both 2 miles).

What can I say? I never liked the idea of staying in an apartment for a holiday, and despite being on the top floor, all I can say is that this apartment is amazing. The view from the main window is its biggest feature with a lot of space to relax after a long day. Having the jetties opposite was a great bonus and it was only a mile into Ambleside.Read more With walks a plenty right from the doorstep, this is a great location to explore the fells! Fantastic property! We loved staying here for the access to the Watersports Hire at the YHA and the boat hire at Waterhead. The local Wateredge Inn was great value for money for a family of 4. This property gave us the perfect mix of peaceful mornings and evenings on the lake with a little hustle and bustle throughout the day. Several times we walkRead moreed into Ambleside too. Some great running / walking routes direct from the front door. Missing the incredible views from the panoramic window already! Hide

Fantastic location! Amazing views! Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the lake. Very handy for the pier and the boats on Windermere. A lot of nice places to eat just a short stroll from the apartment.
