The wood burner is also a nice touch to any chilly evening. The kitchen is character-filled, with its low, original oak beams and an island perfect for on-the-go breakfasts and casual lunches. You'll find everything you could possibly need to whip up culinary creations before hosting a celebratory dinner around the formal dining table. When it's time to turn in, choose from three inviting bedrooms – a master super-king with an en-suite shower room, a welcoming king-size and a cosy single. In the morning, treat yourself to a long soak in the family bathroom’s roll-top bath before heading outside to the small courtyard to enjoy your first coffee of the day. On-street parking surrounds the property, but is subject to availability.

Saffron cottage is a beautifully,cosy, comfortable base to explore all the southern lakes has to offer . Spacious nicely decorated rooms to relax in ,well equipped kitchen, easy to park outside, a home from home. Loved the walks from the door and easy to travel to a wide choice of destinations. Lovely cottage in a super location. Really handy little village, shop, bakery, pub, station just round the corner and free parking for other cars. The cottage is really comfortable, lots of space for 5 to sit around the telly and separate dining room table is handy for games and eating together. Kitchen is wonderful with lots of equipment.

Beautiful quirky cottage with exceptionally spacious rooms. Perfect for families of all ages. Would definitely return again perhaps in the winter to make use of the gorgeous log burners which we didn't use due to the summer weather.
