Fantastic property full of character and with a really atmospheric sympathetic furnished approach. Lovely and warm with mixture of underfloor heating, chunky radiators and wood burner. Very friendly owners. Property very well situated to get to a whole selection of the lake District and Cumbria.

Beautiful property stuffed full of character and in a good position to explore the southern lakes. Huge disappointment for us - particularly with a dog on raw food - was the lack of a fridge freezer. This is advertised on the site as "Fridge, Freezer" but tbh I've seen bigger 'min-bars' in hotels.
