A lovely ensemble of buildings around a courtyard offer a variety of holiday homes-from-home in a picturesque village in the foothills of the Pennines. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts who possess a wealth of local knowledge and encouragement for exploring further afield.

Situated in a vary quiet village. a mile away from a shop, cafe and pub. Very friendly hosts and neighbours. The kitchen is compact, and well equiped with a lovely, comfortable bed. The cottage is small, but still comfortable with a good size bathroom with an over the bath shower that works well. The cottage is part of a group of 4, all connected tRead moreo each other and would be good for an extended family or group of friends. The area is beautiful with plenty of walks for ramblers. Hide

Lovely cozy well maintained cottage which is also dog friendly. Lovely gesture of a small hamper, homemade scones, jom and clotted cream and fresh bread from the local bakery. Bed already made up with fresh towels also. The owners Karen and Paul are very attentive and live in the farmhouse on site.

Excellent hosts and really clean and great little cottage. Everything we could need was there and more. Quiet location but only 20 minutes drive from Penrith and only 30 minutes from Pooley Bridge and Lake Ulswater. Definitely recommend
