An appealing, second-floor apartment, perfect for a couple eager to explore the northern Lake District and scenic areas around Derwentwater, from the convenience of a Keswick setting.

This delightful second-floor apartment for two is within easy reach of Keswick town centre. As the name suggests, from its elevated position, the apartment enjoys fantastic views over some of the area's most popular fells including Latrigg, Catbells and Causey Pike. Head up the stairs and inside this lovely apartment and you'll find stylish accommodation, just perfect for two people or a relaxing solo stay.

Leave the car and head out on foot, the centre of Keswick is only a short stroll away. Spend a morning browsing round the shops, stopping for a bite of lunch or slice of cake in one of the town's many independent cafes. For a spot of culture, head to Keswick Museum and Art Gallery by Fitz Park to learn more about local history, or head to the famous Pencil Museum, the gift shop here is the perfect place for those with an artistic flare. Fancy a night off from cooking? Within a couple of minutes' walk of the apartment you'll find a great selection of pubs and restaurants.

Grab your walking boots and pack a picnic, the views from this apartment are sure to have you itching to get out and explore! Head down to Derwentwater where you can enjoy a scenic 10-mile walk around the lake. Tick a few off the list of fells you can see from the apartment. The scramble up the top of Catbells is certainly worth it for the fantastic panormic views. Head up the ever popular Latrigg to the famous bench at the top, the perfect place for a mid-walk hot chocolate break. Or make a day of it and head for Causey Pike, where you can enjoy a day on the felltops. All before heading back to your home from home.

Head inside this welcoming apartment and you're sure to feel right at home. The bright open-plan living/dining/kitchen area is a lovely sociable space. Cooks will love the well-equipped kitchen; in here you'll find an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There's also a handy dishwasher - no fighting over who has to do the washing up here - as well as a useful washer/dryer. The dining table is perfectly positioned by the window so you can dine with a view! Relax in front of the flame-effect electric fire; curl up with a good book or take advantage of the TV with Freeview and Netflix.

Onwards to the sleeping accommodation. With a feature king-size metal-framed bed, en-suite shower room and adjoining dressing area, you have your very own bedroom suite! The bedroom itself feels lovely and relaxing thanks to its calming decor and the modern en-suite shower room with WC is great; it's perfect for revitalising tired muscles after a day on the fells.

Up a step from the bedroom you'll find a real treat: a wonderful rooftop terrace! This decked area with outdoor furniture takes in more of this stunning views and is the perfect spot for early birds to enjoy a peaceful morning cuppa or for that refreshing G&T come 6 o'clock. The apartment also benefits from a private parking space for one car and a bike store - you really couldn't ask for much more.

Perfect place spotlessly clean lovely views and a great location in the town , it was a perfect place for us to base ourselves for our hikes which we did Skiddaw , catbells and others lovely flapjack and bottle of wine greeting upon our arrival ,we will be using this again on our next venture to the lakes and would highly recommend this place to anRead moreyone looking for the perfect escape. We have stayed here many times over the past few years and have had a fantastic stay each time. Clean, quiet (despite being in Keswick town centre) and very well equipped and maintained. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We cant recommend this place enough.

Our second visit here, as it is a lovely flat in a really good position so close to the town centre. Parking is a bit tight, but a luxury to have on your doorstep here at all. Once you are parked theres no real need to move the car anyway. As long as you are capable of taking a few steepish steps on entry, this is a great property.

Very nice appartment, clean, well equipped, cosey and great location near to the centre of town, yet quiet at night. Parking a bit tight but with a smallish car, no problem. A gem, would highly recommend!

Excellent accommodation in a great location....so many great walks from the door, Fitz Park, Hope Park, Theatre by The Lake, Alhambra Cinema, Lingholm, Market Days, etc etc...it's a struggle to fit everything in! Thank you again to the cottage owners for their thoughtful approach to looking after guests.

This is a lovely apartment in an ideal location. Very comfortable, lovely views front and back. The outdoor balcony is a brilliant feature. A dedicated parking space is also great in the centre of Keswick (although a warning that it is tight!). I loved my stay here and would love to go back.

A lovely place for one or two people. Im a writer and it was ideal for peace and quiet. Two flights of stairs may be a bit if a trek but its worth it for the views.. Comfortable and clean and lovely hosts living nearby. Thank you. Ill be back!

Great location, very close to the centre of Keswick. Clean and well equipped. Parking is tight, but to have a space so close to the centre of town is very useful. You need be aware that you will need to carry your luggage to the front and up two flights of stairs - this is fine if you are able bodied, but take note otherwise.
