Finding a cottage that allows dogs is difficult. So we were so lucky to find Jenkinsons Place that also ticked every box. It’s remote, surrounded by beautiful scenery, peaceful, next to some fantastic walks and and we’ll presented. This cottage is so cosy, warm and well equipped making it the perfect place to stay whilst discovering the Lake District. There is everything you need at this cottage...the owners really have thought of everything that will make you feel at home.

Hello Gareth/Nichola, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's a gem of a cottage, isn't it? The views are exquisite! You couldn't have picked a better location to escape from the hustle and bustle for a while and get out and about on some great walks. We love dogs in the Lakes and I'm thrilled you had a great time. Here's to the next Lakes adventure!

This cottage is in a beautiful lovation and perfect for dogs. Lots of lovely walks from the cottage and lovely local pup. The only thing is the kitchen could have been cleaner and it could have been better equipped but we had a great time and would come back again.

The cottage is in a remote place, however this is what we wanted. It has its own parking which is ideal. The facilities were great, it had everything you could need. The bed was really comfortable, plenty of space. My only complaint would be that the whole house needs a spring clean, there were cobwebs in the majority of rooms and damp on the walls. The front room needs some TLC.
