Stayed here a few times. Lovely tiny cottage, perfect for two (or 3 with a child). Looked out for this for months (it was previously booked up) but managed to snap it up last minute. Close to two great pubs that serve great food. Will be back!

The cottage was in a superb location with access to walking to lots of mountains and places of interest.
The views from the upstairs windows were lovely. The cottage is quite small but was perfectly adequate and very well equipped for us. The only downside was the parking but at least there was off road parking available even if it wasn't the easiest space to get into.

Hi Karen, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it?
The location is just perfect if you enjoy getting out for some good walks and up on the fells.
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A comfortable cottage in a superb location. Better than expected having read other reviews and well laid out despite the rather an odd shape. Yes, some of the furniture/equipment was a bit basic but the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. We found it perfectly clean on arrival. There were only two problems of note. The basin and sink did not drain well and resisted modest attempts to clear. Also, I agree with others about the difficulty of using the parking area. The entrance is fairly narrow and parked cars across the road make access difficult particularly for larger cars. We did get in OK (but not in one manoeuvre) and (fortunately) didn't need to use the car much thereafter because all we needed was close to hand.
