General Description

Welcome to Cornthwaite Cottage, a cosy and characterful cottage for up to 3 people. Head inside and you're sure to feel right at home.

At the front of the cottage is the living-dining room. A space-saving dropleaf dining table and chairs mean you can easily set up a spot to enjoy your meal before tucking them away again. Relax on the 2-seater sofa or armchair, ideally positioned in front of the wood burning stove in its feature exposed brick fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings in in front of the fire. There's also a TV with DVD player for entertainment, as well as a CD player and DAB radio.

Continue through to the country-style kitchen. Compact but well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, handy microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and useful washing machine.

Upstairs on the first floor are the 2 lovely bedrooms. The master bedroom has a feature solid wood king size bed, ideal for indulging in a long lie in - you are on holiday after all! The single bedroom is cosy and has a quaint window seat which overlooks the rear garden.

Also on the first floor is the modern shower room. With WC, washbasin and shower cubicle, great for a refreshing tired muscles after a day out exploring.

Outside to the rear of the cottage is a delightful enclosed patio garden and small pond (the pond is unfenced so extra care will need to be taken here). With outdoor furniture, it's a lovely spot for dining al fresco. There's also a stone hut that can be used for storing bikes, ideal if you like to get out and about on 2 wheels.

On street parking is available close by, just a short walk from the cottage.
