Our third stay in the cottage and already booked for next year. A great location only a 20 minute walk from Keswick and also able to get out on great walks from the cottage straight onto the fells. Can’t wait to come back next year

Hi Gareth, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your third stay as much as the previous two. It's the perfect place for a relaxing break isn't it? And the location is ideal if you enjoy getting out for some good walks. It's easy to see why you love it so much. Roll on next year!

Fantastic cottage set in the lovely village of Portinscale. A short walk on the footpath takes you into Keswick. This is the second time we have stayed at Copeland Cottage and while we were in Keswick we called in at Sally's Cottages and booked it again for next year. The cottage is situated up a track with only a couple of houses in it. The owner lives in the house next door and is on call should you need him, they never bother you and they are always pleasant if you happen to meet them.
The Chalet tearoom which is just down the road is a wonderful place to call in after a walk. They welcome dogs and provide towels for them if it is wet. Great area to be in so handy for most things.

We loved our stay at Copeland Cottage. It certainly has the WOW!! factor. I loved the mix of modern, quaint and quirky. Plenty of space, spotlessly clean, very cosy and warm and central for all amenities in the area. The beds and bedding are to die for and in the kitchen there is every possible piece of kitchen equipment you'll ever need and more! On a personal level the Aga was a let down for me as I'd never used one before and we ate out more than I would have liked. I've suggested in my comments to the owners of the cottage that an electric toaster would be a welcome addition to the already extensive kitchen ware. Apart from that we couldn't have asked for more πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
