General Description

The Cobbles is a cosy bolthole for two people set in the heart of Keswick within easy walking distance of all the town centre amenities.

On arrival at the property a cobbled frontage leads you to the front door. Immedately facing you is the door to the downstairs WC. To your left is the recently refurbished galley kitchen. It's a stylish compact space with everything well thought through to accommodate two guests. There is a fold out worktop, fan oven, ceramic hobs, microwave, under counter washer/dryer, fridge and ample crockery and cutlery for your stay.

Moving through to the lovely living room you'll find a stylish and cosy space with wooden floors, local artwork, a large comfy sofa and a gas effect stove set into a wonderful nook fireplace. Light floods into the room through the large sash windows which also benefit from a delightful window seat, the room also has a small pull-out dining table and chairs. It's a lovely space to pop on the fire, immerse yourself in a good book or curl up and enjoy a film on the flat screen Smart TV and DVD player. The owners have also thoughtfully left a selection of books for guests to enjoy and there is a CD player/radio with bluetooth.

Heading up the curved staircase from the living room you'll find the lovely en-suite double bedroom. From here you can enjoy the view over Keswick's rooftops to Causey Pike in the distance. The bedroom has a gorgeous bed frame with a wonderfully comfy mattress while the en-suite shower room has a mixer shower in a curved enclosure with a WC and compact sink. The room also benefits from a wall mounted television. No arguments over what to watch here.

Outside the cottage there is a cobbled area where guests can sit out. The lawn is owned by the neighbours and guests at The Cobbles have right of way across the lawn to use a washing line if they wish. A lean to stone built outhouse is available to store bikes. This is located at the end of the garden to the left of the property. Inside there is a table and chairs. Please note there is no parking at The Cobbles.
