A cosy warm cottage with a lovely log burner. A few minor issues and not the best we have stayed in but a wonderful village location. Many thanks.

Lovely cottage quite oldy worldy but has everything you need! Would imagine it being a bit chilly in the winter upstairs but has a fab log burner downstairs to keep you toasty! In a lovely spot in Lorton very quiet! Love the village and the pub is about half a mile away ‘The Wheatsheaf’ doggy friendly and nice food - we would return

Hi Janet, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it? And the location is stunning! It's always a bonus having a good local nearby - it's good to let someone else do the cooking for a change.I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A beautiful place to stay, just requires a good lick of paint and a tidy up of the draws and it'll be perfect. Would definitely stay again.
