General Description

Arrival at Coach House Cottage is via a private road to the rear of the church. The attractive gravel parking area right outside the property is very welcoming with its array of flower pots and plants. Entry is via a shared entrance hall which also leads to the rear kitchen garden and delightful seating area.

A single step leads into the cottage's principal living space. An open-plan lounge, kitchen/diner makes great use of the space. The well-equipped kitchen is newly fitted and accommodates an electric fan oven and hob, compact dishwasher, microwave, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, ample storage and plenty of crockery and utensils.

An elegant dining table comfortably seats two people in front of the floor-length double window to take in the delightful view of the courtyard. A cosy lounge area completes the room and offers a very stylish and homely space in which to relax. The owner has a keen eye for interiors and has furnished the cottage throughout with individual pieces of furniture and warm fabrics, each handpicked over the years and brought together to create a beautiful and inviting ambience. There is a TV, DVD player and YouView player available for guests' enjoyment.

From the living room a carpeted staircase winds its way to the upper floor which would have once housed the ostler and his family in the property's days as a coach house. The pitched roof and exposed wooden beams create a wonderful space. Central heating, triple aspect views, deep window sills and elegant decor further enhance the pleasant feel of this delightful bedroom. The bed can be made as two singles or a super king and the en-suite shower room benefits from a double shower cubicle with a power shower.

Every detail of this property has been well thought through by the owner to ensure guests' comfort. One example is the dual blinds in the bedroom which allow you to choose between blackout or privacy mode. A selection of DVDs and novels are available to guests and there is also an excellent collection of maps and guide books about the local area to help you make the most of your visit. Lovely little touches like robes and complimentary hotel-style toiletries add to the luxury feel.

The property is heated by innovative far Infrared technology, which provides a warm and toasty feel throughout and makes this a lovely place to stay all year round.

Outside, to the rear of the property is an enclosed kitchen garden, where guests are invited to enjoy the peaceful seating area and help themselves to any tasty treats that are ready for picking.

A decorated tall arrangement of festive plants will be provided in the living room, and there will be a festive wreath on the front door during the festive period.
