Rather dissappointed. Much of the furniture tired and should be replaced. Foisty smells at entrance. Some photo's on website nothing like reality (back yard). Views are spectacular though.

Hi Jane, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your break, the location is stunning isn't it? Just perfect if you enjoy getting out for some good walks.
I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with some aspects of the cottage. I really appreciate your feedback and will make sure everything you've highlighted is looked into.
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

An upstairs apartment with lovely views of Blencathra. The main bedroom was lovely, large bright and airy. The second bedroom was smaller and not so light. One of the 2 settees in the lounge was rather tired and sagged when we sat in it. Kitchen and bathroom were fine, plenty of hot water and a good shower.

Super cottage in wonderful location close to high fells and lakeside with a lovely riverside walk from the door - perfect for morning dog walks.
