Exit the M6 at junction 40 (Penrith) and take the A66 west towards Keswick.
Keep on the A66 for 12 miles or so.
Keep on the A66 and go past the first turn off for Threlkeld village on your right.
Take the next turning on the left (B5322) signposted Threlkeld mining museum and St Johns in the Vale.
Continue 500 metres down this road and past the remains of an old railway bridge. Just after the bridge, the road bends to the right. At this bend take the left turn.

There is parking on the right hand side of the road in front of the house (5/5a) and, for small cars, there is space in the rear lane. Additional parking space is available by the business units at the far (east) end of Glenderamackin Terrace.
Please note, street lighting is limited in some places so, at night, a torch might be useful!
