Great cottage in an ideal location. Second time we have stayed here and hope to book again in the future. Ideal for buses into Keswick if you do not want to use your car. The two pubs in the village are also very good and serve great food.

The cottage small but perfectly adequate for two people. It is comfortable and warm with plenty logs for the fire provided if requied. We didn't use the fire. The garden is situated away from the house but is pleasant and in a sunny disposition non the less. Situated on the main road through Threlkeld yet not a noisy road. Access to the A66 is easy and the local pubs are two minutes walk away. I would recommend this cottage as a great Base from which to explore the lake district.

Lovely cottage. Bit chilly if you don't light the fire, electric heaters on a timer but you can advance them, to turn them on. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of traffic going past front door, including main bus route from Penrith to Keswick. Double glazing is good. Would stay again.

Hi Carole, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of Clough Head View, it's a lovely place to spend a holiday. Threlkeld is bypassed by the A66 and the only traffic through the village is local and for access only. Many visitors consider the regular bus service through the village to be a bonus as parking in Keswick, especially during the main holiday season, can be a challenge. I hope you will be returning very soon for another stay in this lovely cottage.
