There is nothing more that could have been done to make the beautiful cottage any better. It was so welcoming, people in the area were very nice and friendly, the location was stunning. The town of Cockermouth was beautiful. We had the best time ever and will be returning. No point in booking anywhere else, it will only come up short. Thank you so Read moreso much. Hide

Nice compact cottage in a lovely area. Although small great use of the available space so very well equipped. It was cold and dark when we arrived but the heating was on and nice fresh flowers, choc cookies, tea and coffee in the welcome pack. There was even a bag of treat biscuits and toys left out for the dog. Exceptionally clean 10/10.

We stayed at Cherry Tree Cottage for a birthday treat and it was the perfect place for us, especially having the wood burner for the evenings making it very cozy. The location is lovely and just a 15 minute walk into Cockermouth where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely return in the future.

Lovely cozy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was a beautiful little haven to return to after some very wet and windy walks. The dogs particularly enjoyed curling up in front of the log burner.

Lovely, cosy, sweet little cottage in a super village. The cottage contained everything we needed including plenty of logs for the woodburner. Useful to have the little things like oil, sauces, salt etc! Easy walk to the pub, which was superb, but book in advance as they do get booked up. I believe the pub is closed on Monday and Tuesday. What a find, clustered in amongst many tiny cottages this midget gem of a dwelling has everything that you would want for peace, atmosphere, facilities and chocolate box styling. Short walk from water and civilisation but far enough away not to hear it or be disturbed. I absolutely loved my stay and cant wait to return
