Cherry Pip is located in the quiet village of Threlkeld, four miles from Keswick. With the imposing backdrop of Blencathra, the cottage is ideally located for those looking for a picturesque base from which to explore the Northern Lakes. Threlkeld offers two good pubs both serving excellent home cooked food and local ale. You can stroll into Keswick along the pleasant former railway path which is lined with trees and rich in wildlife.
The accommodation offered adjoins the owner's property and is ideal for couples and small families. A pleasant patio area to the front looks across to the church and fields whilst the rear garden shared with the owner has Blencathra towering above it. The bedroom is furnished with a double and a single bed making Cherry Pip suitable for a variety of visitors, whether you are a couple with a young child or two friends looking for a comfortable base for outdoor activities.
Cherry Pip has a compact and well equipped kitchen but if you don't feel like cooking then two good pubs can be found less than 100 yards down the road.
