General Description

Offering beautiful and spacious accommodation for up to 10 people, with the added bonus of a swimming pool and extensive grounds, Chapel House might just be the one for you.

To the right off the grand entrance hallway is the elegant living room. A lovely, light-filled room thanks to the large sash windows, the chesterfield-style sofas face each other making this a wonderful social space, perfect for catching up on the day's events, planning tomorrow's or simply enjoying a peaceful few moments catching up with a good book. The cosy snug is ever so inviting, with its jewel-coloured sofa and 2 matching armchairs. There's a Smart TV in here for entertainment too, perfect for relaxing evenings in.

The country-style kitchen has an AGA as well an additional electric oven and hob. There's also a microwave, toaster, the all important kettle and a even useful dishwasher too, though with the lovely from over the garden from the sink, you might not mind a bit of washing up! A round table and 5 chairs are perfect for grabbing a bite to eat or for keeping the cook company. An additional breakfast room houses another round dining table and chairs; from here, sliding doors lead onto the patio. A separate, more formal dining room has a large wooden dining table that can seat up to 10. This elegant room with its feature fireplace and original beams will make every meal time feel special.

Also on the ground floor is a useful utility room with an additional WC.

Onwards and upwards up the grand staircase to the first floor, where you'll find the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The first bedroom you come to is called Duckworth and is a superking room; a fantastic, spacious room with a wonderful view over the garden. This bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom, with WC, washbasin and bath with shower over. Next up are the 2 lovely twin rooms, Lune is the bedroom with the grey carpet and Ingleborough is decorated in yellow tones. Both rooms are light, bright and airy and can also be made up as superkings upon request. The first of the 2 family bathrooms can be found along the landing, in between the twin rooms. This bathroom is bright and modern with a WC, washbasin, bath and separate shower meaning all tastes are catered for, whether you prefer a long soak in the tub or a refreshing shower. Chapel House is a lovely, older property, that does have some low water pressure in some of the bathrooms. The nature of the property means that the pressure is unable to be increased any further.

The next bedroom you come to is a wonderful superking room called Newton; with dual aspect windows, it's a lovely room for indulging in a relaxing lie in with your morning cuppa - you are on holiday after all! Next along the landing is the third and final bathroom, in here you'll find a WC, washbasin and bath with shower over. Last but by no means least is the lovely king size room, called Ruskin.

Chapel House sits in 12 acres of grounds, with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. A wonderful patio area by the rear of the house is where you'll find the star of the show - a fantastic swimming pool! The summerhouse on the corner of the patio is a great chill out space and the patio also has an outdoor table and chairs, ideal for a spot of al fresco dining. Down a couple of steps from the patio is the large lawn that's perfect for adults, children and dogs alike to run off any extra energy! You'll be tempted to spend most of time out here, making the most of the swimming pool and the extensive grounds.

With all this on offer, Chapel House is not one to be missed.
