A lovely, cosy cottage in a really great location, lots of mountains to be climbed straight from the front door. Large, warm lounge with good fire and lots of character, comfortable bedrooms. And we grew to like the Rayburn in the kitchen despite not having used one before. Gave it an 8 for comfort only because the shower was accessed from the main bedroom and the bathroom didn't have one (perhaps because its a listed building?) And 8 for local amenities because really its just the pub - and the mountains. But a great cottage and hopefully we'll stay there again!

Caudale Beck is in a stunning setting. If you really want to experience the best of the lakes this is the cottage for you! You really can get away from it all... with no WiFi or phone signal ! We had a brilliant holiday in this lovely cottage.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful remote location. Perfect for the stay with the family. Be aware that there is no wifi or 3G. This suited us fine but others may not.
