A historic cottage with beautiful views and walks from the door. Conveniently located for Ambleside and Ullswater. Lots to explore nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Caudale Beck. A remote setting with hills / mountains all around. Really comfortable beds. Lovely modern shower. There is the campsite shop for milk 5 mins walk away, and there is Glenridding 10-15 mins which has a small general store x2 and coffee shops / hotels..

Hello Ruth, It's a lovely place to escape from the hustle and bustle for a while, isn't it? I would love to welcome you back again in the future.

Great week. Lucky with weather. Roomy cottage, shower and bath superb. Be aware, if you use your mobile EE is the only pick up in the Ullswater Valley area and the TV at the cottage is hit and miss. If you can get to Keswick, Catbells is a must. Ambleside few miles drive and Ullswater steamers a short journey to Glenridding. All in all good time had.
