Hi Linda, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it? I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

We enjoyed our stay at bridgeway it's a very big bungalow very quiet and private.only thing missing for the wife that suffers from osteoarthritis is not having anything to hold onto when using the bathroom the toilet is very low and a handle at the outside door where there is two high steps would have made a difference we found the facilities could not have been better although bungalow is looking tired in some areas especially the kitchen . the shower was amazing we also like the outside laundry room we would definitely go again if we are in this part of the country we enjoyed the beautiful lakes and the Georgeous scenery the weather was lovely for the time of year we also made use of the chippy van which goes to the village every Sunday. The little spar shop sells practically everything if you don't want to go to the supermarkets .

Leighton Buzzard Family
Our three generation family group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bungalow is very well equipped to cater for a party of eight, with plenty of space for all. An outdoor dining table and chairs is the only thing missing, but the two garden benches on the balcony were used whenever the weather allowed. The location is perfect for those wishing to explore the Lake District or for those who are seeking a relaxing break. Plenty of good dog walks in the area, but we were disappointed to find the Shepherds Inn in Langwathby is no longer dog friendly. However, we would definitely recommend the Thursday Pie Night at The Fetherstone Arms in Kirkoswald, which is dog friendly - our favourite dining experience by far. We would recommend The Keswick to Threlkeld railway track for those seeking a pleasant walk with no steep hills involved! The younger family members also really enjoyed their hour on a motorboat on Ulswater, which they hired in Glenridding. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to return in the future.
