We enjoyed our holiday at Bridge House. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but needs a dishwasher. The property was overall very clean. The location was near the beach and would be great in the summer.
All the beds were comfortable and clean, and the dining room was lovely for our COVID reduced number family meals.
We do feel that the whole house is not suitable for more than 6 adults and 2 children max.
There is simply not enough living space for 10.
The accomodation would be much improved if the bedroom that has 2 single beds and was ?previously a lounge was converted back to its former use. There is a nice view from the window and the extra space would take the pressure off the very small current lounge.
As there is no garden we think one to 2 small dogs is the maximum practical.
There is no suitable boot/ utility room or outside space for 4 sandy / muddy canines!
The house has now been painted Blue so the directions need to be updated.
Thank you for a great holiday .

Hello S A J, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You really can't beat getting away from it all, can you? I am sorry that you found the living space for 10 people, we do highlight this in the accommodation summary for the cottage and this is why we advertise the cottage as 6/10. We have also updated the directions in regards to the house being blue.I am so pleased you had a great holiday and I would love to welcome you back again in the future.

The cottage was beautiful and had everything that we needed and the beach was a lovely stoney beach but it was very quiet with pubs closing at 9 and no shops within walking distance you needed to get on a bus to maryport or workington which isn't far where there was shops and yes would definatley return but maybe not in September

The house proved a good choice for our family group of adults of various ages and two young children, travelling from various parts of the country. Its location in a seaside village with beach and playground just across the road and also 30 minutes drive to the northern end of the Lake District combined both worlds. The rooms were nicely furnished. We would happily stay there again.
