General Description

Bridge House is a deceptively large 18th-century cottage boasting incredible sea views over the Solway Estuary, perfect for families and dog owners. Built as the mill owner's house, the old mill is now the Pig Bath on the opposite side of Allonby Beck. The cottage is located just a short walk from the beach.

Upon entering the cottage, you will find the living room and kitchen to your left and the dining room to your right. The dining room has space to seat up to ten guests. The living room has sea views and has a three-piece cream leather suite, a warming coal-effect electric fire and FreeSat TV which connects to the internet, so don't forget your Netflix/Prime logins. The kitchen features a large electric oven with a five-ring ceramic hob and warmer, a freestanding fridge-freezer and microwave.

From the kitchen, the back door opens into a small fully-enclosed yard. There is an out house that has been converted into a utility room and contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

Three bedrooms are located on the first floor: a four-posted double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with sea views and another double bedroom overlooking the yard behind. The second floor has a queen size bedroom and a double bedroom, both with Velux windows. There is plenty of storage room across the bedrooms.

Upstairs, the first of two family bathrooms sits on a split level between the ground and first floors and contains an over-bath shower, WC and hand basin. The second bathroom can be found on the second floor and features a corner bath with a hand-held shower, WC and basin.

An unreserved parking space is available outside the house, there is plenty of space available in the cul-de-sac and a free car park is located just across the road next to the beach.
