A very warm welcome to beautiful Briarwood, a gorgeous detached house on the outskirts of the much-loved town of Keswick. Boasting five well-appointed bedrooms, tons of socialising space, glorious views and flexible accommodation it makes the perfect holiday home for a group or special family gathering. Everything about the house has been well thought-through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling. All of the bedrooms have their own television, four of them also feature en-suite facilities and one of which is on the ground floor which is ideal for those with more limited mobility. There's even a separate movie and gaming room ensuring the teens and tweens are well catered for.

Keswick is the jewel in the crown of the northern Lake District. Stunningly situated amidst iconic peaks and on the shores of beautiful Derwentwater it makes the perfect base whether you'd like to test your adventurous side or just take in the charming ambience of this historic town. Why not take in a play or concert at the Theatre by the Lake during your stay? Alternatively enjoy a leisurely trip around the lake on one of Keswick's heritage launches. There is a fantastic choice of eateries, independent shops and even a twice-weekly market all within an easy walk of Briarwood House. Families will love Keswick's indoor climbing wall and "hard play" centre in town while  Keswick Leisure Pool with its huge slide and wave machine just a five minute potter away. If the kids and teens are bringing their bikes they'll love the BMX "pump track" just across the way.

If your group is coming to make use of the unparalleled natural surroundings then you could scarcely be better placed. Walk up charming Latrigg right from the door and take in the majestic panorama of the Borrowdale Valley, or make sure you're well-prepared and continue on up Skiddaw, the Lakeland giant which stands guard over the town. Test yourself on two wheels by taking on the iconic mountain passes of Newlands, Honister and Whinlatter or off-road on one of the many bridleways and forest trails. You can always mess about on the water by hiring a kayak, paddleboard or rowing boat to investigate Derwentwater's islands. Just the adventure for Swallows and Amazons of all ages. So whether you'd like to test your mettle in the great outdoors, enjoy the atmosphere of this vibrant Cumbrian town or just gather your loved ones under one roof then Briarwood House should certainly fit the bill.
