General Description

Brews Cottage sleeps up to seven guests across two bedrooms and an attic room and is located two-minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick town. It is a dog-friendly property and is situated behind the Keswick Brewing Company. Unusually for Keswick, it has a private parking area for two cars (or three small cars at a squeeze).

Entry to the cottage is through a set of French doors, which flood the ground floor rooms with natural light. The living room features a five-seater leather corner settee, leather arm chair, gas fire, hi-fi and a TV with video and DVD player. The dining room adjoins the living room and the table seats up to seven guests. The well-stocked kitchen includes gas oven and four-ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, freestanding fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The first floor features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a WC. One bedroom has a Superking-size bed that can be split into two singles (please let us know if you'd like us to make the beds up as singles), a built-in wardrobe, bureau, dresser and a small TV and stereo (bring your auxiliary cable if you want to play music from your phone). The second bedroom has a double bed, double aspect windows, a built-in wardrobe and chest-of-drawers. The two bathrooms each contain a walk-in drencher shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

The attic room is accessed via a permanent ladder from the first floor and, while it is possible for adults to sleep there, the room has been designed with children in mind. There are two single futon bunks and a single bed under the pitched ceiling that has large Velux windows - please let us know at the time of booking if you need bed linen for these beds to be provided. A huge TV is available, but only works with a gaming system, so be sure to bring the Playstation or XBox if you want your children to make use of the TV. The attic room is a perfect hideaway for children, but the ladder (which is steep but does have safe handrails) and the fully-opening windows do mean that the room may not be suitable for young children.
