Bowscale View can be booked alongside Courtyard Bedroom (Mosedale House), an extra en-suite twin room that can accommodate 2 additional people. The price to book Courtyard Bedroom would be £200 for a full week and £150 for a short break. Please contact the office for more information.
Forming part of a barn conversion, Bowscale View (Mosedale House) now offers characterful accommodation for up to 4 people. Surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery, Bowscale View is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The open plan ground floor provides spacious and sociable living accommodation, full of charming character features from wooden beams to beautiful exposed stonework. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, firdge-freezer, handy microwave and useful dishwasher. There's a lovely dining area here too and down a few steps is the sunken living area, a cosy space just perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring. There's a Sky TV and DVD player for entertainment or simply sit and enjoy the stunning views from the full height French windows here, once the original barn doors.
Upstairs on the first floor are the 2 charming double bedrooms. Both rooms are spacious and have vaulted ceilings with feature wooden beams as a reminder of the building's history. The first double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with WC, washbasin and bath with shower over, and the second double room has its own en-suite shower room with WC, washbasin and shower cubicle.
Bowscale View has a wonderful private patio, accessed through the French doors from the living area. With wooden benches and stunning views towards the cotatge's namesake Bowscale Fell, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee or an evening apperitif. Catch up with a good book out here or unwind by watching the great varity of birds that also like to pay Bowscale View - or it's garden at least! - a visit.
Outside there's also parking area that's shared with the other cottages at Mosedale House.
